This is some very tasty chicken teriyaki. They use thigh meat which is juicier than breast. The meat was tender and flavorful. It didn't need the extra teriyaki sauce, but it punched the flavor up another notch. The mac salad was creamy and cooling; it was a great side to the chicken. I got the cucumber salad and it was also very tasty; I felt like I got the veg that I was craving. They only do takeout, so the atmosphere is okay, but not great. I wouldn't call it a bargain, but the portions were generous. I'll be back to try some other menu items.

I've lived in Seattle 8 years and as a transplant never really got teriyaki. It's usually mid and almost never better than making it at home. Grillbird's the best I've had. Finally, some good (censored) teriyaki.

I’ve been to Grillbird several times and I’m so grateful to live close by! The food has always been super fresh and I try to order new things, but I always have to have the mac salad and cucumber salad. I love how many different protein options they have and with the ability to order a plate or bowl, I manage to have just enough food to satisfy my cravings. I love the ease of ordering online and their timing estimates have always been spot-on - I drive (or bike!) up and pickup my order right when expected.

The chicken for the teriyaki chicken is the best I've had. Their cooking process is fantastic. Juicy and cooked perfectly. Going to come back and try the other dishes soon

Amazing gluten free teriyaki. Generous portions. Loved the cucumber salad as well! Would really love some outdoor seating. There’s plenty of space outside for a few tables. Takeout only and no seating other than a small bench inside. There were also a few errors on the menu inside where items were not marked as gluten free that were (greens) and one that said it was gluten free but contained gluten (cabbage side - turned out to be gluten free but menu writing error). Menu online is accurate.

i had the chicken teriyaki w/ double mac and fried cauliflower. the fried cauliflower has a little kick to it and is delicious. the chicken was tender & the sauce was good- not too sweet. the macaroni salad was disappointing to me, tasted too vinegary- i imagine the carrot might be pickled but it was too strong for my taste. still 5 stars though, the guy at the front had great energy and the food came out quick for a saturday.

Good Seattle take-out teriyaki with an extra touch of something different. The chicken is very tasty and the portions are fine. It gets very busy so definitely order ahead if you can. They have a lot interesting things in the menu but I've only been once and decided to stick something on the traditional side because it was what I was craving and it did not disappoint.

Grillbird has some absolutely fantastic teriyaki. I’ve been quite a few times and each time the food has been really tasty. The portions are generous and they hold up well reheated (I usually split the plate into two meals). I strongly recommend it!

Super easy to order carry out via the website. Got a plate with the chicken teriyaki, cucumber salad, and mac salad. The food tasted amazing and satisfied my very picky relative who in particular loved the chicken teriyaki and the mac salad.

Ordered from here twice now, and everything (flavors, portions, presentation) was top notch...they really have things dialed in. We've tried most of the sides: the Mac salad and cucumber salad were my favorites, with the spring rolls being the only one I probably wouldn't order again. Not exactly a side, but the fried cauliflower was awesome....its also big enough for 2-3 to share. The real stand out though was the Bang Bang chicken...it was really amazing! Two minor details: the parking lot is small, so if you are doing pickup parking might be an issue, and the first time we ordered we were able to do delivery, but not the second time...not sure why, could be on either end I guess, but something to watch out for
